The Amazon River system of Brazil, foreboding, wild and mysterious, home to anaconda snakes exceeding 20 feet in length, piranhas that can strip the flesh off a cow in just a few minutes, electric eels, stingrays, caiman and many more creatures. Native Indians still live the way they did thousands of years ago, but more and more the Amazon Basin is under attack from development and man.
