My fish have recently had anchor worm, whitespots and really red gills. I put some aquarium salt into my fish tank, which is a 14 gallon tank and my fish are beginning to look a lot healthier. Oh yeh…i have 10 fish in my tank.
What i want to know is how often do i add the salt to my tank?

How do i change the water in my 150 gallon tropical fish tank? I am looking to keep Oscars in it and want to change the water oncea week.
The part i am unsure of is how i’m supposed to get the temp right and dechlorinate before adding to my tank?
Also,will i need another fish tank and heater to prepare the water prior to changing?

I am thinking of getting some tropical fish, but do not want to pay a huge bill for the electricity to run the heater for the tank.
How much electicity does the heater for the tank use? Would it be expensive?
I would have a medium/small tank.

Setting Up A Tropical Fish Tank

I have a tropical fish tank in my workplace and i absolutely love it so i have decided i am going to get my own tropical aquarium at home. If i could get some tips and advice from experienced fishkeepers on the best process to set a tank up. Any help would be fantastic!
