i was shocked 4 days aho while cleaning a fish tank. the heater in the fish tank 200 watts, had a crack in it. when i touched the water i received a shock and about 15 minutes later, tingling began in my arm. i went to a doctor and he said it should stop in a few days. the tingling is still there and now i get sharp shooting pains from my hand to my elbow. should i be worried?

I’m not allowed a hamster,dog, or cat so I want to get a fish thats easy to look after.I dont want a tropical fish, because their tanks are to expensive so I want to get a coldwater fish.The problem is I dont want a goldfish, because they’re really boring.Any sugestions?:-o

I’ve been working on this for months! I replaced by old 75 gallon tank with a new one in black trim, built a wet/dry filter out of a 20 gallon long tank, turned the stand around and painted it black (the back of the stand had a bigger opening for better sump access), and made new cabinet doors and painted them. I still have to add some plants and my fish of course! :)

Hi, I have 3 oldish danions (4-5 years old, zebra pearl and golden) in a 8ish gallon tank. I started with more danions but they’ve died over the years :(
my tank had started to leak (cant use sealant because its wet XD) , which is bad for obvious reasons so I’m getting a new one tomorrow. I’m gonna get one a little bigger, and was considering getting a betta fish (had one before and i loved him!) but to do this the tank would have to be tropical. I’ve heard …

I’m going to cycle the tank later, right now I don’t even have a filter, but there’s like legit dirt on the inside–it’s been sitting in someone’s garage or basement or something.
Would it be safe to use cleaning chemicals to get the glass clean? Or will it kill my fish regardless?

the instructions say wait 12 hours to settle the water, its a coldwater tank. do you think i should wait a bit longer??
