Community Fish Tank: Fresh Water Aquarium This is the Catspit Productions fresh water community aquarium or fish tank. It is about 8 months after the first aquarium video was posted. Since then I have had to remove all live plants due to fish eating them. They just wouldn’t let them grow. I also had a bout with ick and lost several fish over time. That was ok because I wanted to add better fish. So this is the new and improved aquarium. This tank is a 20 gallon, high with ...

I am planning on getting a Betta fish and would like to know how to clean the tank properly. I have looked at a few tutorials on You Tube and found that many of the comments disagreed with their way of cleaning. So I am completely stumped here. Help please? By the way I am twelve so please have the steps be easy and understandable. Thanks!
I will have a 5 gallon tank for the Betta since that is what it needs to thrive.

Now, I’ve read that you only need to replace about half of the water when cleaning the tank…but in our case that would leave about half the water dirty and brown!
We’re really confused…lol
