How big of tank should two betta fish be in? I have them in a two liter tank with a divider. I bought it at Walmart. Should they be in a bigger tank? How many times a day should I feed them? I only feed them once a day so far. Is it ok to give them the pellets and the flakes at the same time?

I recently got a Betta fish, Paco, and I did a lot of research and most sites recommend the tank water to be about 78 degrees(+/-3). I have a heater for the winter when the water could get colder. but right now it’s at about 80 degrees. I was wondering if there was any way to cool down his tank and keep it at that temperature without putting ice in the tank or cold water. I don’t want to shock him with the temperature change.

my male betta fish has a small white dot on the left side of it’s face,it’s been their for two months and it hasn’t gon away yet. What should i do i am wored.

I got a 30L biorb about 7 weeks ago. I do water changes weekly and my tank water seems to always be clear and clean.
Today I cleaned the sponge and filter for the first time. However, after cleaning it all thoroughly and putting it back in all this dirt and muck came out of somewhere and seems to have taken over my tank.
I presume it will be filtered through again and gradually disappear, but I don’t understand where it all came from as I cleaned the sponge and filter so …

i have recently got a baby biorb fish tank (about 4 gal) and have a male beta(Flash) what kind of other kind of fish can i put in there with him and how many? i was only going to put in about 3 more.
