Both fish purchased from Francis at ChensDiscus during the third quarters in 2008. This healthy female red turquoise discus shown in the video was purchased at ChensDiscus on September 2008 when it was 3 and a half months old and it was about 2 inches tail length. It is now 6 inches, measured tail length. This red turquoise discus is raised soley from conditioned tap water at a PH of 7 and kept at a constant temperature of 27C. Hand feeding my 6 discus fish in their aquarium. The tank is a 260ltr Fluval Osaka aquarium with a fluval 305 filter returning over a spraybar. I have 1 or 2 300w heaters in the tank, dependant on the waters temperature stability. IMy discus are a mosaic leopard, penang eruption, white butterfly, 2 pigeon bloods and a tiger snakeskin.
