i have a fluval 305 filter and am getting a powerhead and hopefully air pump and air stone. tell me what you think i should also add to my tank to make it better and clearer and whatever you think will help. my tank is 46 gallon bowfront and consists of 8 cichlids, aa blue gill, and 2 tilapia. they are all very happy together.

I really want a fish. The thing is, I live in a one story house with one sister, one mom, and one dad. I have 3 dogs, 1 cat, 2 guinea pigs, and 2 rabbits. I take care of all my pets. I’ve asked my mom if I could have a fish, and I said I would pay for the fish, the tank, and the accessories myself. She said no. How can I get her to change her mind?

I just picked up a 75 gallon tank and stand cheap. I have no accessories though, any suggestions? I’m going the freshwater route. Not sure what kind of fish yet. I’ve had an Oscar before, but I want friendlier fish. Suggestions of fish? What kind of filter, heater, and pump would I need? Thanks!

I was recently given a fish tank with all of the accessories, one of which was this air pump. I don’t know if this air pump goes inside the tank or just the tubing goes inside, or what I’m supposed to do with the check valve that’s included. Are there diagrams out there that can help? Thanks in advance.
I also have the filter with it, put don’t see where to run the tubing through. Its a "Second Nature Whisper Power Filter"

Hi. I am hoping to put turtles and other animals as well as the fish inside my 10 gallon tank. I would prefer herbivores, but they do not HAVE to eat plants. What species of animals live well with each other. Also, what decorations should I put in my tank. Rocks? Sub aquatic vegetation? Sticks? Any suggestions? Thanks!
By the way, the water will be fresh water, not slat water.

but I have read on some websites that it is better to get a larger 20 gal tank for a chemical balance or something.
Any tips for setting up a new tank? Any good websites for beginners? Please tell me anything and everything you please!

I just purchased a large fish tank with numerous accessories. there’s at least 1 or 2 power filters here, but NO papers, Instructions to set them up. One is the AQUA-tech 30 60 newly redesigned filter, unknown what the other is. And most all of the parts are not hooked up. All in pieces. This is my first aquarium and I want to make sure i put it together correctly and have all of the parts for it. Please help?
