ive got a decorative rock in my fish tank. It looks like it is made out of a colorful cement type of material. I always clean it with plain water and scrub with a toothbrush. There has to be a better, quicker way!!!

I just got my fish yesterday. I have a 10gal tank, I cleaned the tank and accessories before setting up. I have 2 comet goldfish and 2 fancy goldfish also 2 algae eaters. Last night it was clean and clear and beautiful. But this morning when i was feeding them I noticed that the water is cloudy and there is a white fluffy substance all over the decor, the plants and even on the bottom of the tank. I want to get a fish, but I don’t know what kind to get. Also, what kind of tank and tank accessories would be good for this kind of fish?

I have a 30 gallon tank.. i want to put in two humu triggers and a star fish… will this work?? what will i need as far as tank accessories??
also i might want to get just one humu and get two clown fish and an anemone or would that not work..

setting up a new tank and it about 30 x 30 x 80
i already have pump , filter , light and accessories.
im going to put some swordtails in the new tank maybe with some guppies and i want to put some tropical plants in but dont know to much about them.
will the plants be benifical to the fish? what sort of gravel/sand ect will i need to hold plants and which plants are relatively easy to keep for a begginner ?

I currently have several fish tanks where I breed livebearers, and my LFS tells me that I’m really good at keeping my fish in good shape. So I am trying to plan out a 40g Tank to fill with several species of gourami and others.
Anyway, I think I’m going to start my 40g Tank with one Opaline Gourami (6" max) and then as it matures, add in one of each of the following:
- Pearl gourami (4")
- Blue Paradise Fish (4")
- Blue Gourami (6")
- Gold Gourami (6")
- Some color of FW …

my main question is what are some must haves for a betta fish. I know you need food and a tank but do you need anything else? (ex. a heater or accessories?)
