Ok, so we have an old 20 gallon fish tank, it was my boyfriends mom and her fish always died (I assume she didn’t know anything about how to add the fish) So the fish tank has been sitting for about two months, with the old water,gravel,plants, filter etc. I had a tank about 10 years ago,I think it was 10 gallons and I remember letting it run a few days before adding my fish, and they lived for years.
