    @Elitebetta I just jarred my first spawn! The night I jarred them I had 15, in the morning I only had 14. I forgot to put the lids on and one of my girls took a leap of faith, really hated myself for forgetting? to put the lids on! But at least I only lost one. Finally got a camera for making vids of my betta, vt not nice hm like yours but someday I may beg you for a pair of your nice betta! But I am not sure what I am doing for the summer and don’t want to have new fish while I am away.

    your videos are really nice. I love the whole set up and how you do care for your? fish. Im abreeder as well but this one pair is really giving me some trouble at the moment. So i wanted to ask you just curious but what do you feed your fry and what do you use to keep the bare bottom tanks clean in the grow outs. Also what tail type and color are the fry? How many do you currently have going right now? If you dont mind me asking where you are from?

    To answer your 1st question its all on my video on Basic foods on breeding betta. I use rigid tubing with airline tubing to suction my bottom every single day I kinda feel bad for them if I don’t clean the bottom that’s why I maintain it crystal clear. Tail type all show type CT, HM, HMPK . For the color I guess I got it all except marble. I currently growing 9 batch of fry’s rushing to get show quality to? show this show season in Area 1. Lastly I’m from Canada.

    @Elitebetta @Elitebetta Thank you? for answering all my questions. I figured you were a show breeder considering that you have so many fry growing and spawns. I am currently working on a dragon hm pair. I will (hopefully) soon be getting a pair of hmpk or hm salamanders. They are pretty predictable when it comes to finnag definitely color. I hope you have a good chance in the show. How long do you condition your pairs before the intro??

  • Elitebetta said:

    I usually condition them 1-3 wks before spawning I feeding them the best food I can provide them but you can use bloodworm if you don’t have access to live ones like daphnia or white or black worm. Hope you will be successful breeding your pair. You can visit betta 4 all for the breeding method I’m using its? on the sticky note there just go to breeding and look for (Betta Breeding Elitebettaway). Again good luck on your spawn

    Hey elitebetta, just wondering what you have setup in? those tubs for filtration. Love the setup btw.

  • Elitebetta said:

    @LoneStarBettas
    Sponge filters that’s just? it.

  • LoneStarBettas said:

    @Elitebetta Okay. The spawn tank at 2:22 made me wonder. Looked like there was a filter cut into? the side. :D

  • Elitebetta said:

    @Elitebetta
    Yup sponge? filters then 80 percent water change every 2-3 days.
