Why are BiOrb aquariums/bowls so expensive?

It seems like they're easily double the price of other aquarium kits the same size, yet i can't find anything particularly special about them.
They seem just as easy to et up as other aquarium kits and don't offer anything that the others don't.
So why are they so expensive?
brand name. they are also great at killing fish, they suck!
i personally have no idea eather and i am thinking of getting one for a nano slat water set up
I would just tell you not to worry about it cause we got one of each , a cheapo and those expensive ones, and they ARE exactly the same, so get the cheaper one and save money!
Because the manufacturers are so greedy.

Because people return them so quickly once their fish die..
for the same price you could buy a 29 gallon starter tank and have everything you need and a conducive habitat for the fish..
