Height will not be an issue with iguanas, well most of them. Iguanas don’t climb a whole lot, but they will like to venture around the enclosure so having a stick or two would be just fine for climbing. Length and width is more important than height since it will need space to run around. I am not sure what kind of iguana you have, so I don’t know how large your iguana would be as an adult.

Full grown iguanas need alot more room than an aquarium can offer. They tend to get around 5′ max, and when full grown a cage of 6′lx4w’x4h is ideal in most cases.

You’ll never find a tank big enough for an iguana, you will have to give a room of your house to it ot at least build a very large cage for it.

As for the other answerer implying that they don’t need height, I don’t know what they’re talking about… Iguanas are an ~arboreal species~ That means they CLIMB!

The Iguanatorium at my father’s house is 13 feet long, eight feet deep, and about 12 feet tall, that’s just about right for one adult male Iguana…

    Enjoy.

An iguana enclosure should be at least twice the length of the iguana and should be tall. Six feet is the minimum habitat height recommended.
Width should be (at the very minimun) half the length of the iguana

    Adequate sizes….
    6-8ft tall x 6to8ft long x 4-6ft wide

    general rule: the bigger…the better

    (my iguana’s enclosure is 8x8x8)
