KidsBuild! 2009 took place on May 29th and 30th. This event was presented by the YouthVisions Committee of The Boston Society of Architects and was hosted by the Institute of Contemporary Art. Children ranging in age from approximately 6 to 15 years of age engaged in the process of building a fictional Boston neighborhood. They applied for building permits, developed a design and constructed the building they envisioned. From aircraft carriers and bridges to aquariums, high rise condos and hotels, to the JFK Library and White House - it was an extraordinary display!
