19 June 2010 6 Comments

I was bought this BiOrb 60ltr tank and marine conversion kit. I have been slowly adding stuff over the last few weeks and I have Live Rock, a Cleaner Shrimp, 1 Clown Fish, 1 Orchid Basslet, 3 Trochus Snails & 4 small Hermit Crabs.

How much is the live rock for the 60 biorb?

Look nice, is it much more hassle than tropical fish?

Cool! Tanks looks good! Is the the music from ‘The Flying Dutchman’?

The live rock is 5kg and was cured when I bought it online. It cost approx £70.00 and would highly recommend having some. I would say no more hassle than tropical it just takes longer to set up and you have to be patient with adding new stuff. Have only had it going for two months now but so far so good.

Thanks for the comments. I think the music is “The Flying Dutchman”.

How do you clean the filter?

The filter is really easy to change you just twist the bubble tube and take out. Throw away the old filter cartridge and put in a new one. I do this with a small water change. Very easy.
