Betta Fish in 10 Gallon Planted Aquarium

15 May 2010 166 views 15 Comments

This is my Betta fish Zev. He is happy in his 10 gallon Aqueon Deluxe kit. I just started this tank 10-17-09 and am cycling it with Biozyme. That is what you see floating at the top of the water. I am loving this tank, and once it is cycled I will add some more fish and plants. Any tips are welcome ones on fish or plants. Thanks for watching!

what kind of plant is that on the wood?

  • pcman09 said:

An anubias. I am curious as to how long it will take to actually attach to the wood. It has only been a week now. It doesn’t look to good to me though. Several brown spots and parts of leaves are missing on just about every piece = (. I have read its very hardy though so maybe it will pull through.

Yes, but only the deluxe edition. And sometimes not even. There will be a big green sticker on the side that says 50W Heater included.

  • pcman09 said:

@rocktrns17 No, bought it at the store as well and placed it there. It attached itself to the wood after that.
