I’ve got a small fish tank with 3 goldfish and a few accessories. I’ve been told I need something else in there that gives off bubbles or something to added oxygen etc into the tank. What is it that I need? Many thanks

I might add slate to the tank. It’s big by the way. What do you think, because I think it looks more natural in tropical tanks.

I have a 30 gallon freshwater aquarium. In it are 5 angelfish, 1 clown loach, 1 red tailed black shark, and a small pleco. What are some good community freshwater fish that will go well with these fish. I would like them to be active colorful fish. Also if you have any tips on keeping freshwater aquarium plants alive it would be greatly appreciated. My plant keep dying after about 2 weeks in the tank.

I’ve seen these ‘tablets’ that you can drop in your fish bowl if you are going to be away a few days. When I read the package it doesn’t specify Betta. Are they classified under tropical fish? Thanks for your input.

Our new mouse habitat! We got these two mice today, a gray with a white stripe and a brown, both females. We had bought a large wire cage to house them in, but even at 3/8 inches the bars are far enough apart that they could escape. So I had to quickly clean out my 10 gallon glass aquarium to create a more secure home for them. I used parts of the cage set up to make it more interesting for them.

This is my new betta fish I got him yesturday (03/20/10) and I named him Cobalt. I use 10 gallon tanks for my bettas because I feel that it makes there life a longer and happier one. :) The tank has a tetra clear 20 hook on the back filter and a heater which I keep at 26*C (78*F). Cobalt is doing great so far and I think in the future I will get an apple snail to keep the algea level down. Enjoy :)

And do they need a heater because It says they are tropical but I have seen los of pictures of them in just small bowels.
