My New Betta Fish!

Hey youtubers! i just recently got a betta fish! im not sure on the name yet so leave your suggestion in the comment box please! I know people are going to leave comments on the tank size but he is happy and has lots of room to swim in and the tank is about a gallon!
haha yea brace yourself for mean comments about the tank.
btw,ppl told me that sea shells make the water really hard. so i took it out of my tank.

Yeah, a bigger tank is almost always better, but if you keep up with the maintenance he should do alright. Just change ALL of the water about every two days and make sure it’s the same temperature as the old water (roughly 24 degrees Celsius). Also, you may want to get a SMALL bubble maker for his tank to break the surface of the water and oxygenate the water better. Bettas breathe air and need places for them to surface, but they also use their gills…..
….I have noticed that Bettas that live in more oxygenated water don’t have to surface as often. Just don’t over do it or he’ll get agitated. Also, I would put some small silk (AKA soft, fake) plants in there for cover. He’s going to want something more to hide behind. Just be sure to not use hard plastic plants. They can rip his fins as he swims by them (I know this from experience, sadly). Anyways, good luck with your new fish!

I have the same type of tank except mine is the green and pink one. I think the tanks okay if you don’t have an active betta but if you have an active one.A bigger tank might be better.

nice betta and i would love to hear what you have to say but it is very hard to hear you and my volume is at the max which just makes this annoying
@cheryl4967 i no srry i got a new camera but it wont let me upload vids to movie maker so i have to use a really old one with terrible sound so srry!
cool betta, a little small though, but hell be Ok, taking much better care of him then a lot of other people!
