Im doing a betta fighting fish experiment where multiple fish living in different ph zones will be allowed to see each other and i will monitor their level of agression. Will the ph level affect their aggression? And what are some good ways of lowering and raising ph levels? What materials will i need to raise/lower ph level? I just got this 3 gallon bowl (the biggest "fish bowl" you can get, and I really want to add a little fish buddy in with my betta. Is there any other fish I can add in with my betta in a 3 gall bowl?

i unscrewed the screws at the base under the orb earlier to loosen the bit inside where the filter is held to clean underneath it. when i screwed them back on and filled it with water, it was leaking like hell out of the bottom of the tank. I tightened the screws, it didnt work. i took the whole base bit off and re-assembled it, still nothing. the bottom bit won’t go on properly and my fish are in a tiny tank and i dont know what to do. please …
