My Male Betta in his 10 gal tank. Heated and filtered. (UPDATE) Hes still kicking and is nearly 4! Note how he has a 10 gal to himself, no bowl to be seen. AND he has a filter and heater.......

Aqua one Hang of the back (HOB). Rated for a 10-30 gal tank. =)
o.k thank you for the reply, 1 of my betta’s hates any type of flow and i’m trying to figure out what filter would be best for him, so once again thanks and what a wonderful home for your betta (mine are just in 5 gallon tanks)
Yeah, this one is ok but mine hates most too…cant rember where i found it but whenever i need Hobs I always get ”aqua one”. Your welcome =) Good luck!
I have found the ZooMed 501 Turtle Canister filter is excellent in my 10 gal. It has a v large biofilter area, but alas, its internal flow features are up the creek! But – it works really well, crystal clear and healthy even with 25 fish!! (v small ones!) with a male Scarlet VT as the star.
BTW – your tank and fish are absolutely beautiful

Yea, this bettas tail is shredded, He has had some rough times with some other fish. But hes safe now and with no tail rot. He will just never be what he used to be,,,,,

He ‘was’ a crown tail. This this is the first ever betta i bought so hes just on 4 years now. Had some scraps with fish in his younger days, he was very aggresive now hes fine with guppys!!! This is merely a shadow of his formwe glory fins. Ive uploaded a new vid of a red crown tail i bought not so long ago (6 months?) Should check him out!.
Well, awesome! My male betta, who I rescued from very near death, is very docile – I keep him with my livebearer fry. lol
his fins look more torn up then they should. i realize hes a crowntail but that doesnt look good….
Yeah i know, his fins are completelyt destroyed…….he will never have his old glory back. Had a incident a few years ago and this is how hes been ever since.
