BiOrb Aquarium: Use Intelligent LED Lighting System in a Planted Tank?

I've been thinking about getting the intelligent LED lights for my BiOrb aquarium... my tank is heavily planted and is doing well with the halogen light it is currently running with.
If I replace it with the LED lighting system, will my plants continue to photosynthesize energy? If not, how can I keep my plants healthy without a light source that enable photosynthesis?
(I am asking because I am not sure if the lighting system enables photosynthesis or not)

thats a cool light…

from this add i noticed its for a reef set-up which is virtually impossible in the first place.
the plants like 6500-6700k light to photosynthesis and this light has it. you can change the cycles to your liking making the high noon part (est forplants) last longer.
its all going to come down to light intensity…
I don;t think it would be even close to what you need, the site doesn’t boast live plant capability and there are no pictures of live plants in the tank aswell.
good news is the halogen light itself is so bad a product how could this possibly be worse light wise.
if its not expensive i say try it but i say the odd are 70% its not bright enough.
I’m sure the Intelligent LED light system will give your plants the ability to photosynthesize.
