Mine was when my fish tried to jump out of the aquarium, but hit the lid and fell back in.

I’ve got two crazy things for you that my betta done.

    1. I had a mini air bubbler and my betta would swim into continuously, float to the top, swim back down and go through the bubbler again.

    2. In my 10-gallon, the return current was a little strong from the power filter and my betta would swim to the strongest section of the current and coast backwards. It would do this repeatedly several times before it got bored.

I don’t have any anymore, but I once had three males in one of those long displays for inside of your tank, all in separate compartments, and the one big guy we had jumped from his enclosure to the others and killed one and shredded the fins of the other beta fish I had.
That one would even go after my huge goldfish. lol He had a severe attitude problem. :)

Mine once died then five minutes latter it came back alive not evan joking. Me and my mom went to the movies and when we got back we found it on the floor all shriveled up so we put it back in the bowl cuz my mom wanted to burry it. So we went out side and all of a sudden it started moving and breathing. Weirdest thing thats ever happened to me. Of course it died again like 20 minutes latter probably due to stress or something.

Mine actually got fished out by my cat. My betta fish have never done anything crazy like that. Jumping out of an aquarium may indicate that you had an ammonia problem.

I think one of mine had narcolepsy. He would often get above the heater and sleep on top of it on his side. Sometime he would lay on his side on top of a leaf. I thought he was a dead a couple times and picked him up by hand or the net and he would wake up and get all angry and flare up when I put him back in the tank.

Mine likes to sleep laying on a leaf with his head poking out of the water. I swear at times I think he’s dead then when I pick him up he gets all angry and flares at me and swims away

My Betta Rhodes is a bit crazy, he is more interested in me than in food. Every time I try to feed him he ignores the food for a couple minutes (even when I know he’s seen it) to try to swim at me, and he’ll follow me round the aquarium if I move from one side to the other. His tank is always the most dirty of my aquariums because he always misses at least a pellet or two because he’s too busy following me around to stop and eat. He even does it when I’m feeding him bloodworms and other really tasty stuff.
