Question about the Baby BiOrb Aquarium?

5 February 2010 One Comment

So today I got the Baby BiOrb aquarium, and when my mom, dad, and I were trying to assemble it we could not dis-attatch the "bubble tube" to put the filter cartridge in. In the instructions it said to twist the bubble tube counter-clockwise and it would come off. Well we have tried that about a million times and it will not move! And we really don't want to damage or scratch it! Has anyone had/has this aquarium? Do you know how to get the bubble tube of??
Please Help!!

Hmmm, we have one were I work and it comes off fairly easy. But for the life of me I can’t remember which direction I twist it t make it let go!
Try, gently of course, twisting it the opposite direction.
Or try, (gently!) wiggling it in it’s spot, trying to loosen it up some how. Possibly prying a bit with a blunt butter knife.
Even if it breaks, it’s pretty much useless if you can’t get it to let go so the cartridge can be serviced; so work at it for a while, otherwise it has to be returned, broke or not.
    Best of Luck!
