I am new to tropical fish so im checking, its a 70 gallon tank, conditioned water, heater (25 Degrees) bogwood, plants and an air pump?
He keeps playing with the bubbles, is this normal? I am use to pond fish and when they do that, theres a problem so is that ok?
the 70 gallons isnt all for him, I am getting some neons and a few others but that wont be until a while so for now I am just sticking with him.

Well first of all there is nothing wrong with a Betta having 70 gallons to himself. So someone wants the Betta to live in luxury? Are you actually gunna insult or hassle someone because their Betta home is better than your Betta’s home? lol.
Everything in your tank sounds fine, although it’s better for a Betta to have a temperature of 78 to 82f. He should be fine, though, as I’ve kept Betta at 77f myself.
Some Betta hate currents, some love them. It is completely normal for him to mess around in the bubbles. Consider it just another cute little detail in your Betta’s personality.
You should be careful what other fish you place with him. Many fish are known to be fin nippers, like Barbs and Guppies. If you manage to get Guppies that are not fin nippers, it might be the other way around and your Betta may go after the guppy instead. Betta are also known to go after Tetra, but are of course less likely to in a large sized tank such as you have. Betta are more likely to attack colorful fish with long fins, and labyrinth organ fish. He will also be less accepting of tank mates if he decides the whole tank is his territory. Meaning if he has it to himself for a while and then you add more fish. Removing him, changing around how the decor is organized, and putting him back in when adding the other fish would be a good idea if he gets territorial because the tank is known to him as his territory.
should b fine. they make bubble nests. google it.
u bought a 70 gallon tank for 1 betta? omg u need more fish for fun. and everything this is better than good. and the bubbles is normal for a male betta.
70 gallons!!! Betta fish are fish that live on thier own and usually live in like a 1 gallon that you can buy at a pet store. For the bubbles, Betta fish aren’t usually in a tank that needs bubbles so you might want to check out this website.

ha ha i remember my betta fish use to play with bubbles! It was funny!
Well your betta’s just interested in them. For the list, everything is perfect. But you should get some marbles, or maybe rocks. a 70 gallon tank is REALLY big for ONE betta fish. But It will be good for it. Big room will make it feel like it’s free. when your changing the tank make sure the water is at least 65-70 degrees. Your all set!
Hope this helps.

That should be great if he is the only fish. If you mix beta fish with other fish he will try to fight them.
The only problem you might have is the betta going after the neon’s..but in sch a big tank, he probably won’t. Just don’t get to small of tetras. Try a school of Harlequin rasboras too. They would go with neon’s.
he will be fine
Yes fine but in the future when you want a certain specie read up about it’s requirements before going out and getting the fish
