I just got a betta fish. He is in a fishbowl with some aquarium gravel at the bottom. He’s only about 2 days old. I feed him pellet type food for bettas about once, maybe twice, a day. He doesn’t seem to want to eat much and a lot of them sink to the bottom of the bowl. Now the water is starting to get a little cloudy and there are a lot of foamy bubbles on the top of the bowl at the corners. …

I don’t want to overstock, or understock, and I need fish which are suitable in a tank this size as I hate it when tanks are too small for them.

ive heard betta fish recognise theyre owners and also do trciks to get food and let you know if they sad or happy is this true or just a myth?
