I’m not sure if you know this, but clown fish don’t really NEED an anemone in captivity. In the wild they use them as protection, but if they are in a tank with nothing to get them, then there is no point, they’ll just host something else. For example my two clowns host a shell from the ocean, they love it and are doing just fine:)

Yep, mine host my filter, host just means use as a home. Mine slips down the side of the filter and pokes its head out (cant get hurt)

You can buy artificial anemones u know, i used to have them, my clowns loved them! fake anemones and coral would be good for a biorb as they cant hold real coral. Brightens them up a bit. Youll want to spend a bit on it tho so it looks as real as possible and not cheap rubbish!

youve obviously only just filled the tank – the air bubles on the SURFACE of the BOWL indicate chlorine gas still in the water – …you really should run a tank of ‘new’ water for a days before adding fish …also when you mix up new water – let that stand for 24 hours before adding it to tank . (note i said the bubbles on the surface side of the bowl )..i know theres an airstone in there and thats not the issue.
