I have just bought a baby biorb, what sort of fish can I put in?

I have always wanted an tropical fish tank but thought i best see how i cope with cold water fish first! What sort of fish could I put in a baby biorb, apart from goldfish? I realise they need to be small, but i would like something pretty or unusual to look at. Any ideas?
white cloud minnows which look like little tetras get a few to male a nice little group…
just remember biorbs can hold 35% of fish capacity a rectangle tank of equal size can.
great looking bowls but about the worst thing you can buy due to gas excange limits.
i’m guessing a 2 or 3 white cloud minnows at the very most and even thats cruel as these fish like to swim..
the makers of these bowls should be shot and killed for outrageoues false advertising.
a single male betta might be ok if the room can be kept fairly warm.
if you haven’t used it yet for god sakes take it back and buy a giant goldfish bowl instead. much easier to deal with.

In all seriousness I would not consider putting fish in a baby biorb. Goldfish grow to big and produce too much waste. White Clouds swim against a current, which you can’t create. Biorb’s are not suited for fish and baby biorb’s are really not suited for much at all.

bio-orbs, an basically any similar ‘tank’ that’s more interesting in looking cool than providing enough space of the proper proprtions that ideal for aquatic creatures (bowls, giant martini glasses, ipod fish tank, etc) should just be banned all together.. FAR too many fish have met their dimise in it.. you can bet you butt that if there was something like that for dogs it’s get banned immediately, but somehow fish aren’t the same, even though they are just as conscious and sentiant as anyother pet, people still think they are "just fish"…
