No not at all i have never had a fish jump out of this tank. But if he does jump out i will find a lid of somekind. i check up on my fish once a hour so if he jumps out i can put him back in. Anyway he is only in this tank for about a month because once christmas comes around he is getting moved to ethier a 10g or a 5g =)

very nice video! My betta died this summer because the heater was unplugged my accident. I have a video of him, as a little tribute. I’m getting another one, but my old betta was too beautiful and kind to be replaced. He was a red and blue crowntail.

now remember kids, make sure that you do not keep any fish in this, just water and maybe fake plants

if my room is hot and i live in Florida do i still need a heater?

  • BreezeMyHorse said:

well it all depends on the tempature of the water if its some where between 72-80 degrees it should should be just fine :D

nice bowl. kinda funky lookin lol. my bettas love eating frozen(thawed-out) baby brine shrimp, and bloodworms. it brings out their “killer instinct” lol

  • BreezeMyHorse said:

I know is funny lookin thats why i like it so much xD lol. I have tried feeding blood worms to my bettas but they dont want to eat them for some odd reason lol

    haha thanks :D

that no filter = drowning in ammonia soup
no heater = quite large variations in temperature (enought to stress the hell out of the fish)

    what do i feed one?
    betta fish flakes?

  • BreezeMyHorse said:

well i feed mine betta pellets in the morning and betta flakes in the night time. But you could jus feed them pellets which you can pick up at any pet store for a few dollors
