Keep your babies in the same tank as the parents. They will become familiar with those surroundings and water conditions. This way, when they become large enough to release into the tank, they will not become nearly as stressed by switching tanks. What you need is called a Breeders Net (linked below).

Best of luck,

Go to the pet store and buy a sponge filter. This will enable you to have a filter running without sucking the babies up in it.

Get yourself a filter for the tank. Cover the intake tube with either a mesh filter media bag you can get at the pet store, just loop it around and knot it closed at the top, a pair of knee hi nylons will work the same as well, or a filter sponge can be cut to fit and tied on the intake tube with some thread. Also, get a smaller manual gravel vacuum to use on that tank instead of a python.

The problem with breeding boxes, even the nylon net ones, they don't allow much water flow through, they get dirty very quickly, and they can be difficult to clean if you have a lot of fry in there.
