i was wondering, if you can take the male and female out as soon as the eggs are put in the nest, would the fry survive?

    Great video…sweet music with it!

  • omegaphoenix6 said:

it looks like it’s just cut styrofoam; just cut the edge off a styrofoam cup and they can make their nest in it (just make it stay in place)

  • Marmota4cs said:

amazing video… the betta fish …simple to give birth :D … good video !

  • brianvelasquez said:

It’s actaully a styrofoam cup cut in half. Many breeders use this to help keep the nest nice and from going every where in the tank.

  • davejued said:

no, after the eggs are laid u must take out the female, and let the male take care of the fry. otherwise when the eggs hatch the fry will drown thus it need its father to help them.
