TURTLE TANK JUNGLE STYLE

25 September 2009 25 Comments

My turtle tank now updated to this jungle / wild / tropical style. It looks more natural, plus it provides them with more room now as the turtles have been getting bigger!

cheers, theres a red bellied cooter, yellow bellied slider, and a map turtle. can handle them all but the red bellied is the best at being handled- more easy going, adventurous/curious.

Did you got a proff to make this?!. This is awsome !

  • onac90 said:

no feed them enough calcium food then they wont eat sand …

  • tofutofu08 said:

ur feeding ur turtles too many live fish

  • perpetualwandrer said:

No its not, it is a natural substance. Gravel can be much more harmful.

  • Mike1364827429 said:

im not feeding my turtles any live fish! thats my pet!

  • Mike1364827429 said:

hey thanks, no you can buy them in bunches, they have suckers on them to stick to the glass

Ohh man cant stop seeing this, this is a very beautiful environment! How long did it take to make this ? And is that a waterfall, on the right side of the tank ? Btw 5/5 !!!!!!!

  • DavidAProduction said:

but if you dont feed them with any live fishes, why do you put a fish in thier tank? i know fishes makes them active, and happy, but can they just strike some time ? Btw do you use fake plants ? sorry for all question but i just want to make my self prepared . 5/5 !! :D

  • Mike1364827429 said:

well why not? the fish helped clean the tank, and makes it even more interesting! The turtles didnt try to eat him, occasionally i might of noticed the fish would have the odd bite mark in its tail or something, but it grew back. I don’t have the fish anymore, my dog decided to get it and chew on it :( lol

  • Mike1364827429 said:

hey thanks for the compliment :) didnt take long to put together, you can buy bunches or these leaves (specific for aquariums etc) and they just stick onto the glass using suckers. Simple really, but creates a atsmosphere/environment! :)

Thanks for anwering to my quetions, and i hope you will answer more if i have any question :) . It’s beautiful how you set it up (Sorry for saying that so much :D) ! But i will see what i can find. But is the rock, that spot where they are relaxing, is that stuck on something, or just floating? And is it a water fall you have on the right side of the tank. I am sorry for writing so much :D 5/5
