it is nearly sure, that my fish has 2 issues. Parasites ( VELVET _ or a from of protozoan disease = (can be treated with Maracyn), and a bacterial infection (COLUMNARIS). girls dye faster than males
my fish is dying right now. wut can i do 2 help it go faster? cuz it looks like its in pain.

really my fish has pop eye i thought he was just born like that

flush it down the toilet…i hate seeing my fish suffer when they are dying.
AWW DAMN. I have a female, she can’t swim properly, so I’ve been moving her to the top of the tank to get air. although I can’t do this all day, do you think I can put her on a “raft” to stay moist and breathe air? I have medication in the water.
Dear all people with sick fish,
dont flush it down the tolet or whatever you do unless you have triend everything. there are lots of medication that can help it if you find the illness. like if your fishes fins are together then there decaying, you can go to the petstore and get some medcine if you tell them whats wrong and usually you find the right medication and you,ll fish is back to ricovery.

they do have to get air out top of the water their lkabrinth fish scientist took out a bettas laberinth organ and it drowned
i hav d same female betta…
it died today due to that condition…
honestly…
im now researching bout d disease that possibly killed her…
so nxt time i buy a new female betta,
she wont xperience d same…
had her about 2nd week of january and now she’s gone…
i think my fish just died….
its tail started to rot 3 days and turned black overnight. i was only able to try water changes. i didnt have time to try anything else. he was my first betta and its really depressing. i only had him for a week and two days and from the first day i got him he didnt want to eat. the one thing he bit he spit right away. i tried flakes pellets and worms. i got to name it Alpha.
i want to get another one but i want to educate myself first.
Can tell me what my fish had and how i could have treated it and/or prevented it.
p.s. he had started nesting.
if u had a raft wouldn’t she float to the top and dry out? \BTW I know that reply was from 4 months ago, but this is to prevent future plans like that.
i have the same fish as yyou do but my betta has green spots on him
not white (ick) but green i don’t know what to do

i have melafix should i get pelafix too?
