Well if you want to bread them just scroll down the responses some are pretty good. but if you don’t want to breed your fish just let them be. Message me if you got more questions.
i have a female just like that named jackie
tank is way too small, n breedin betta with rocks is not the best way….use a 5 gallon if u want to breed them….10 is also good too..keep temp at 80-82 with no rocks n water level 5-6 inch high only….u might want to cut out a foam cup in half n put in tank so the male knows its safer to build nest underneath…also best to put a female on a small plastic see through cup in the tank with the male so they dont touch or attack another…leave until male had build nest than release female…
Thank you I hope it will help people. On my part my Betta died (unrelated).
its ok…im wellin to help those tat breed to be success…n aww ur died….srry to hear…later
My male betta is four different colors… light blue, dark blue, red, and purple.
PLEASE help me! i don’t know what is going on… so i have a male and a female, and when i put him in with her, he flareing at her and then charges at her almost ike he is fighting her, but now he is makeing a bubble nest…. :/ can anyone tell me what to do? because she just seems skared of him or something…..
Read up on breeding. it’s more complicated than just throwing the fish in together.
As alphonsedoinel said, it’s not just throwing fish together, I thought mine were ready and it was a test to see if they would get along, I stuck both of them next to each other in different tanks first for “intros” but read below me there’s a few very good pointers about how to bread them properly in the comments left by other users.
that is completely normal here what you should do.1 make sure you have some sort of bushy plant for the female to hide in . 2 when the male is making an nest u dhould kepp the female in a cup inside of the same tank as the male release her when the male is done with the bubble nest. 3 if ur lucky the female mite like the nest and want to breed with the male at first she might be a little scared but she will eventually be brave after a cupple of days than she will mate hope this helps
Thanks SOO much for the help!! x)
I need help my Male beta fish had been blowing bubbles when do I put the female in the same tank or what happen I’m sorry I’m confuse
wat are you breeding them?? if so when hes made the nest let the female in if they fight its ok leave them for 2 day then see if yes spawned if so take her out the 3 days after there hatched take the male out treat there fins if there damaged BUT ALWAYS put the female in her own tanke on her own for a week or so the feed the fry bloodworms or brineshrimp 2 times a day the at one mounth seperate the males( more agressive ones) if some arnt agressive the leave them till they are sorry for be long.
how do i know if there are eggs in the nest?
Have both of them in their respective tanks next to each other for a week or so. Then you can introduce the female with the male and watch for aggressive behavior. Make sure your breeding tank is adequate for breeding. You can find loads of info on the net on how to properly breed your fish.
dang males are so big compared to females
