My male betta fish named Loki. He’s fairly new, so he’s not flaring too much yet. He’s still pretty much a scaredy cat right now. There are only two fake plants in his 2.5 gallon minibow aquarium because I want to give him some swimming room. The little plant, a fake bonsai, has a little opening on the bottom where Loki can flee to when he gets frightened. His filter is also set on low so his fins won’t get damaged and the incoming water from the top doesn’t push …

This is my Bi-Orb (60L) converted to Marine. Everyone advised against it saying nothing would survive but its been running faultlessly 6 months now. I did not use the marine convertion kit that they sell. Instead I opted for lots of real live rock and replaced the stuff in the filter with seagel. I have two clowns, two turbo snails, 1 hermit crab, 1 cleaner shrimp and 1 peppermint shrimp. There are loads of different critters living in the live rock too.

My turtle tank now updated to this jungle / wild / tropical style. It looks more natural, plus it provides them with more room now as the turtles have been getting bigger!
