Goldfish prefer water temperatures that are in the 60's. As a rule of thumb as well one goldfish needs a 20 gallon tank with an additional 10 gallons for each fish you add.

If you keep the temp the same then you will be better off putting some small guppies or platies in your tank.

Algae eaters themselves wont co-habit to well with goldfish. If the goldfish dont eat the algae eaters then the algae eaters will try and eat the slime coat off the goldfish.

Dont buy ANY goldfish for your tank as it is too small, the minimum size you need to put a couple of fancy goldfish in would be 30 gallons. Your temperature is too high as well for coldwater fish, reduce this to the 60s and you could add something like white cloud minnows.

the size of your tank is too small for the amount of goldfish you want, 12 gallons isnt really big enough for one!

You could get some livebearers, zebra danios or white cloud mountain minnows.
