just make it big as a shark or dolphin, doubt much will try to eat it then, plus at that size and in the water, protection layers aren’t that hard to add.

if they just put off a bit o an electrical current the preditors would sta away from them.
but that cost energy, they will not be able to last as long and i dont know what type of scensors they have on them, that might cause interfirence. not unless it can choose to go on stand by, pulse out electricity then resume the plan. it would have to do it quick tho as sword fish are fast and sharks may ignor it or just attack fast. what about clinging to the wale… whale.. well you know.
