I’m not rushing progress – the progress is already being made. Check out anything made by Nekton Research, the robot company, especially their various robot turtles. To get lifelike maneuvering, one needs lifelike power levels. !00 watts/kilogram is about right for useful action. 1 watt/kg is what a lot of toys (and most other research bots) have. Think BattleBots/RoboWars, but wet.
Yes, good point, but still. Maybe they didnt want it all powerfull and such or maybe they couldn’t afford it.. (I wouldn’t know, I don’t really build robots XD) Or maybe these are just a bunch of guys who built a robot, not a bunch of..Well I don’t think it really HAS to be scientists.. who have these resources (again-Me = no robot experiance)

it looks like it tries to swim with it’s head rather than it’s tail. looks promising though.
