You need to get a 2o Gallon fish tank. 3 gallons isnt enough use for anything!

If you are getting a Baby biorb please dont put ANY FISH in it!!

Maybe plants and shrimp but 3 gallons isnt enough water for any fish to survive.

I would definately consider a bigger fish tank

It would be possible to keep one male betta fish in the tank as long as the filtration was good and it has a small heater. 4 gallons aint too bad, its a hell of a lot better than the half gallon bowwls people cruely keep their bettas in. I have had a 4 gallon tank before and kept a few panda cories, a male betta and an apple snail. They have all benn healthy and active with the betta now 5 years old (living in a bigger tank).

As long as the fish are looked after correctly and you give them a proper enviroment to live in, including caves for hiding and plants, they will be just fine. In my opinion i would rather see a betta fish kept in a 4 gallon bowl than the captivity cups they are kept in for the first year of their lives.

You could add a betta fish or some shrimp. Baby Biorb tanks are’nt that great, unless you just want a pretty looking aquarium to sit on your desktop. If you have the chance to alter your birthday list then opt for a larger Biorb, 35 litre+ aquarium. This way you will can keep a far better assortment of fish.

I personally think the Biorbs are a waste of money, a rectangular tank gives fish more surface area to move and thrive in.

I had a baby bird and kept 4 or 5 guppies who were very happy. They also bred twice so I had to move them out.

I’ve since bought an aqua start 380 which is a lovely 35l tank and is the same price as a baby biorb

15ltr you can have about 9 fish in a baby biorb as long as you keep them safe. But they haw got to be small like platy, guppies, catfish and mollies round about that.
