Veiltail Betta Fish
Here is a Veiltail Betta fish in a 3 gallon Eclipse tank. Just bescause Bettas are able to live in smaller tanks doesnt mean they should! Aquarium tanks for Bettas should not be any smaller than this. The tank has a Bio wheel filter that is built into the hood which causes little current, just rippling the surface not disturbing the betta fish too muchand is very quiet. There is also a 25 watt heater that has been placed horizontally to keep the water at a good 79-80f. The bettas colours are brought out nicely as well by a flourecent light buil in the hood.
The Betta fish is visibly happy and as you can see is very happy. This tank looks a lot better than the tiny small bowls or betta prisons as they are sometimes known!

I would put live plants in it.
