Can i give my Goldfish tropical fish food flakes

Tropical Fish Food Flakes
I used to have tropical fish (i now only have goldfish) and have a load of tropical fish flakes left over. Would it be ok to feed my goldfish with these or should i stick to dedicated goldfish flakes.
I hate to waste things!!

goldfish eat all sorts of food but the tropical fish food should just be given as a treat now and then but proper goldfish food should still be the mainstay of their diet. Tropical fish food needs to be thrown away if it has been open more than a year though!
doesnt really matter what you give them, tropical fish food is fine.
Tropical fish food flakes are much MUCH better than goldfish food flakes.
