It is real. It is one of several robotic fish that will be used for monitoring pollution.

I think if they put those ”robotic fish” out at sea that they would be smart enough to but a fish repellant to ward off the larger preditors in the sea from eating them that realy would hurt some fish populations and possably there diet who wants a evolved shark in 200 years that can eat huge amounts of metal and live? or possably a boat?!?
